Camp Concert

When I went up on stage I felt nervous because there were lots of people in the audience watching our group dance. Before we went up on stage I was talking to my friend in front of me. The reason why I was talking was because I was talking about why I was nervous.

My groups name was called the Respect Squad. After we did the ‘Poi e’ dance I felt so happy because that was the funniest dance I have ever done. When Respect Crew went up I thought that our group was going to go last. Well when I heard our group go up I was so nervous.

When we went in the hall all of our groups had to sit in lines. When we when in there was only two groups of us in the hall but when it came to the last part every one came in the hall. When I was watching all the groups I thought the were all cool.

When Mr Barks was telling us about who was the judges I was thinking that they were looking at how good the groups were. The judges names were April, Shatna and Bruce. I can't remember who won the prize for the best camp item, but it wasn't my group.

Riverside Camp

Holiday’s highlight

The first week we started the holiday’s was exciting. On Saturday the first day was so fun that I had to pack my bag’s and had to wait for one more day and then when it came to Monday we went to Willow Park. On the way when we went there it was fun that we were all talking to each other. Then when we got there we had to sit in line to see what group we were in.

When we went to Willow Park we had to sit down and waited until Mr Burt told us to to get in line. Before we went in line we met some men called Luke, Jono and some one else. During that day we all had to put our bag’s up stairs in our room’s. Then when we were finished packing our stuff up stairs we had to go down stairs and sit down in our line’s

Before we done everything we had to listen to Mr Burt at everything he had said. After that Mr Burt had put the year 8 for the river side leader.
Every time there’s people who’s setting up Mr Burt would give us play Money for our point’s. Then every time he would count the money when we usually have our dinner or lunch.

Then when it was coming to night time we played spot light at night time then when we stopped we had we had to go up stair’s to brush our teeth
then when we were finished we had to get changed in our p.j’s.

Camp TC

Camp

On the first day of camp I had to take my bags to the hall. I felt happy. I was in the Participatorz. On the first day of camp we did an activity with Mr Harris. We played some games. When we went to Mr Barks we had to get a bit of wood and a tire and pull it up. I went kayaking. Mr Burt was teaching me how to steer his boat. We had to practice our item. We ate hangi food for dinner. It was nice.

On Tuesday my group and I had went to Rock up so we went to the dunker to have fun. But when my group and I got to the dunker it was pretty fun. When it was my turn to get dunked I was a bit scared to go on so I tried my best to not hold on to the gates. But I put my hands on my lap then I dropped down. Then I jumped up and I got out of the dunker. But once I got out I was so cold that I was shaking. But afterwards my group and I had went to the archery. When we got there I tried to get the balloon but I missed it. So then I tried and tried to get it but I kept on missing it so I carried on trying my best to hit that balloon.Then when we finished the archery we went over to the Rock climbing. It was pretty easy for me to climb up the Rock.

My favourite of camp was getting dunked in the dunker at Rock Up. I also liked how my group and I tried our best to get to the other side on the Ski Boards.
